MultiMap links

Some days ago someone (I can't find the mail now, sorry!) pointed out to me how to link to Google Maps by lat/long, so I added links to Google Maps from pages centered around a US site.

Today Laust Ladefoged (recenter) pointed out to me that MultiMap has maps for (almost?) all of the world, so I've added MultiMap links to all pages now.

If you know of a good map service (even if only for your country) that I can link to with lat/long coordinates, please let me know. To make it more likely I'll get around to it, please provide as much information as possible about the parameters required (sometimes the lat/longs are x100 or x1000 for example) and which countries are covered. Thanks!

Multimap will also link you back, so say I ran a company and put a link to a map on multimap, multimap would also index this and display in a map.

So if your looking in the local area youd see a link to my company. Clagnut.com works at multimap so it might be worth getting in touch, perhaps you could have a powwow or something :)

If you want to add Yahoo! Maps, you can use the following:
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?lat=43.116&lon=-88.491

It will redirect you to one of those long and scary and obfuscated URLs, but it will actually work, and you’ll get a map. (Add the parameter mag=4, or some other number, to affect the magnification.)

I just found out that multimap.com is somehow unsharp on showing the right place. If I do search for my address, it will not show my residence at the beginning of the street, but in the midst of it. Maporama.com is much more accurate, but I dont think it will support the search by Long. / Lat. - I didnt find any info on that subject over there, while it sure tells you them data for the address you were searching.
