The GeoURL bot looks for lat/long information encoded in the HTML headers of the webpage. The bot crawls pages found via the blo.gs service and pages that are entered into the GeoURL ping form (see add your site for more information).

The bot follows 301 and 302 redirects, but not any links on the page itself.
